Folders can be shared with other registered Keeeb users in your organization, or shared with non-users via a public link.
Individual documents can not be shared.
-
When a user creates a folder, they are the folder owner.
-
A user or group that is added to a shared folder is a folder member.
-
If a folder owner chooses to share a folder, they must select one of 3 different sharing permissions levels.
Sharing Permissions
When sharing with a fellow user, the folder owner can select one of three different permission levels for the designated user(s):
-
Co-owner: Co-owners have fully equivalent rights as the owner to add, edit, delete, or otherwise change any content within the folder.
-
Contributor: Contributors are members that can edit, delete, or otherwise change content they add to the folder. However, they can only read or comment upon content that has not been added by them.
-
Consumer: Consumers can not add, edit, move, copy, or otherwise contribute content. However, they can view all content and comment on existing documents.
When sharing, you can use the allow cascaded sharing toggle to further control how the folder is subsequently shared.
-
When turned off (default), no members of the folder other than the owner will be able to share further share it with others.
-
When turned on, your folder could be shared with additional users by current members.
-
Cascaded Sharing doesn't impact document level copy, move, or delete. All permissible users can always copy documents. Owners and Contributors can move or delete documents they created.
