Collections Curation Tools
Drag & Drop
Keeeb Collections now has intuitive drag and drop curation capabilities simplifies the task of re-organizing Collections content. Drag and drop defaults to a move action, but when first pressing the CTRL key, the drop action performs a copy.
Pages
Drag and Drop Pages to move or copy Pages (and all contained content items) from one Topic to another Topic.
Content Items
Drag and Drop Items to re-arrange sequence on Page views. Additionally, use Drag and Drop to move or copy items from one Page to another Page.
Multi-Select
Pages and Content Items may be selected by hovering over them and clicking on a selection circle that appears. Upon the first ‘selection’, a multi-select tray appears at the bottom of the Collections screen, enabling the selection of all viewable pages or items, clearing selection – and corresponding Move, Copy, and Delete actions. Multiple selected Items can be merged*.
Multi-Selected Pages or Items can also be moved or copied using drag and drop.
* this functionality replaces dragging one item onto another to merge – merge is now only available via the multi-select tray.
Alternate Mouse Click
All objects in the Collections main area now have a right mouse click menu to support context actions. You can capture a URL link to Topics, Pages, and Content Items to enable direct access to any authorized user.
Pages
Menu items for Move, Copy, Delete, and Copy Link.
Content Items
Menu items for Move, Copy, Delete, Open (and download for uploaded content), and Copy Link. You may also set a Page favicon image to a designated Item through right mouse click.
Data Sources
New Data Source
Keeeb has integrated with Northern Light’s Millie News Feed, providing global industry news from thousands of local, national, and global news organizations and content providers. Millie also contains access to IT related social media feeds to view industry expert posted content. Millie is an added cost Data Source for Keeeb customers.
Data Source counts
Following a Keeeb Discovery Search, all active Data Sources in the Source Filter are marked with a representative item count – relative to their contribution to the Search Results. The item count provides decision support to the filtering process.
