Using the Data Source Selector
One of the simplest ways to target a search is to select the data source that you wish to search. This can be done by pre-selecting a single data source or a combination before entering search terms. This option is available when launching a search from Keeeb URL.
From Keeeb URL
- Log in to your Keeeb site. Based on your organization's subscription model to Keeeb, you would land in different user interfaces. (Keeeb Platform or Discovery Only)
- Pre-select the data sources for your search from the drop-down menu.
Note: If you do not pre-select data sources, the search will default to "All Sources" as the data source. On Discovery Only search page - screenshot 3 - you can not preselect your data source in your first search. However, you can do that in all consequent searches.
- Enter your search term.
- Press Enter or click the icon button to view search results.
- If you pre-selected multiple data sources, your results could be further narrowed by eliminating certain sources using the facet filters visible to the right of search results (screenshot 2) or on the Discovery Only interface; click on the facet filter icon to show available filters (screenshot 4).
If you wish to expand the number of data sources after the initial search, you must search again to select a wider range of data sources.

Using Facet Filters
Results from any data source can be refined by using facet filters. Common facet filters include author, time, and document type. The Facet filters are available when you launch a search from Keeeb URL, Google or Bing, or Keeeb for Office. The following screenshots highlight how to view the Facet Filters in these locations.
From Keeeb URL
Based on your organization's subscription model to Keeeb, you would land in different user interfaces. (Keeeb Platform or Discovery Only). After launching a Discovery search successfully, in Keeeb Platform (Screenshot 5), facet filters should be visible to the right of search results. On Discovery Only search page, click the filter icon, and the facet filters show up as a drop menu (Screenshot 6).
